Leslie, it was an honor to meet you yesterday during our flight from Savannah to Houston. Thank you for sharing some of Israel's story with me. It touched me deeply. I know you are very proud of his service and extraordinary bravery. As a Vietnam-era combat officer, I salute you and Israel.
The Krupa family would love a west coast trip someday. If we ever get there we will look up the Garcia family and hope to share a hug and a few memories. I will get a few of those 2008 X-mas tree photos posted on FB and maybe we can connect! Not a day goes by that we do not think of the heroes of 7/13/08. You are all in our hearts and prayers. A mass is being said for our heroes this month as it will each year in July. God Bless you Lesly and Mr. and Mrs. Garcia. From the family of Will Krupa, Northfield,
New Hampshire.
I was visiting my parent's home in Hawaiian Gardens and read their newspaper and came across Israel's article. I've kept it on my desk at home for two years now so that I would remember him and remember to pray for his family. With July 13 approaching, I would like to write his family. I contacted Holy Family Church in Wilmington and they could not help me. Can someone help me with an address or can I send the letter via the church they attend? Thank you very much. God Bless You.

Dear Mrs. Garcia,
I am glad that I had to opportunity to meet you and your mother-in-law at the 173rd memorial in Georgia. Certainly, I wish our meeting would have been under nicer circumstances. I have some pictures to send you, but for some reason I am not able to send a private message. Please contact me at evahonaker@yahoo.com and I will send them to you.
Sincerely,
Eva Honaker
